so, yeah. haven't updated in forever, and yet, with those 4 months, i can't find anything interesting to say. this sucks. well, let's see... i'm done with 8th grade now. i'm waking up at like noon each day. i'm a deviantart addict. i REALLY need to change my layout (but i'm too lazy to). my xanga's birthday has passed on may 24th; happy birthday to my xanga. and... oh yeah. MY BIRTHDAY WAS YESTERDAY xD. hehe, funny how these things pass you by, huh... ^^;

I HATE ENGLISH. if english were a solid thing, i would take it and smash it into little pieces with a meat tenderizer. or i'd build a bonfire and slowly burn it... still. it is SO INCREDIBLY evil. oh, english... someday i shall get thee.. hm, i think i lied in the mood thing. i feel like shit right now =.=;

i have not done a thing for the history project. i am not even joking. i have absolutely nothing. i'm pretty much up shit creek. and i have an english quiz thing tomorrow/today. *le sigh* i even wrote a haiku about my history troubles!!!:

on friday, i went to the NDTV Chinese New Year Global Galain the amazing land of Radio City Music hall, where a soda or a box of Raisinets costs $4.00! it was pretty cool. but i didn't like that they tried to mix in western acts. in my opinion, the chinese ones were the best. ah well. and i've decided that i want to be a chinese lion thing next year for halloween. Cat can be the head (and mess with the eyelashes and ears and mouth twitch-yness) and i can be its ass xD. does anyone know where i can get a lion suit?

i've been doing a lot more artwork stuff lately. it's not like i even draw well. it just relaxes me, i guess. i don't even know if i want to be an artist when i grow up. i mean, being a manga-ka or an animator would be fun, but they you wouldn't get paid very much unless your book or movie becomes super popular. errgh i had this discussion with my mom. and i have absolutely no idea what i want to do with my life. but in the meantime, i'll just sit here with my colored pencils and be happy ^^

wow i don't really have much to talk about. that's pretty weird, because normally i can't stop talking. i don't know... i just feel weird/strange/different today u.u

my newest pic- my tribute to all things Studio Ghibli and Miyazaki. it's kinda/very screwed up and discolored, because it wouldn't fit in my scanner so i had to take a picture of it. not to mention i drew it weirdly. just try to humor me. i tried my hardest >.<

i've been experimenting with Photoshop, and i've managed to add shadows to faces and turn this (from my last post) into this. i am also feeling quite smug with myself x3

and i totally wasted my friday at the Brearley dance. i mean, everyone who went had fun, but i didn't want to go. and it was awkward and annoying 'cause i didn't know anyone there. and it was like a Bat Mitzfah... only weirder. everyone says that it's more fun if you dance, but i can't/won't dance to save my life. thus, for me, going was totally useless and a waste of my time. the end ^^

arrrgh. oh ya, i almost forgot. on wednesday, i had a dream that i was in school (arrgh, the life of a Brearley beaver *sigh* i even dream about school.), but it looked different. but that doesn't matter. anyway, i was in the elevator, which also looked different, and then i had a cough drop, even though i wasn't sick. then Mr. Karb thought that i stole the cough drop from him. when i really didn't. and... that's it. pfft... HAHAHAHAHAHA.
